5 Perspectives to Research about HPV Vaccine:

I'd be willing to bet you that Rick Perry is not vaccinating his girls or mandating the females of his family to be shot up with the HPV vaccine, Gardasil.I'm just sayin...

CNN posted an article about the things they claimed should be known about Gardasil. Personally, I feel this media institution should be charged with criminal intent to defraud the American public. The article contended that the HPV vaccine controversy was mostly political and that HPV vaccines were safe. It also noted that we have been vaccinating children for many years.

For those who prefer the truth over mainstream propaganda, here are five things you really need to know about HPV vaccines:

ONE: Merck needed a new cash cow to replace the billions in profits lost due to Vioxx finally being pulled from the market after it caused over 50,000 deaths. Mooooo...Gardasil was selected to become the new cash cow and, just like what happened with Vioxx, Merck has resorted to rigged and misreported study results and hidden evidence of the dangers of this drug too.

Initial Merck safety tests used a placebo, which was identical to the Gardasil vaccine minus the HPV virus components - instead of a truly benign placebo such as saline solution. The placebo contained highly toxic aluminum, polysorbate 80 and sodium borate - items whose side effects are markedly similar to those being experienced after Gardasil injections.

Actual trial data for Gardasil reveals that a shocking 73.3 percent of the participants who received Gardasil acquired a new medical condition ranging from flu-like symptoms to paralysis. Almost 60% had systemic reactions. The "placebo" recipients had similar results, but obviously no mere saline solution would have produced even a fraction of such reactions.

TWO: Studies have actually shown that Gardasil and its sister vaccine Cervarix (from GlaxoSmithKline) provide no protection for women already exposed to the HPV virus, and in fact present highly elevated risks for already exposed women as well as for expectant mothers. When the vaccine is administered to a woman with a dormant or harmless form of HPV, her likelihood of developing precancerous lesions increases by a staggering 44.6 percent!

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has reported 45 cases of spontaneous abortion, or miscarriage, following Gardasil vaccination. At the time the vaccine was approved, five babies had been born with congenital birth defects after their mothers had been given Gardasil compared to zero in a placebo group. Later reports put the number of birth defects in the vaccinated group closer to 40.

THREE:  Vaccination safety organization SANE Vax announced that they discovered that Gardasil has been contaminated with a substance many government health and safety agencies classify as a bio-hazard. HPV recombinant DNA (rDNA) was found in 100% of the 13 samples which had different lot numbers and came from New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Poland, France, and three states in the U.S.

FOUR:  Due to lack of prescribing information furnished to doctors by Merck, doctors are reluctant to report adverse events and other factors; actual deaths and adverse events for Gardasil are hugely under-reported. It has been estimated that only 10% of adverse events for other vaccines are reported. With Gardasil the estimates range as low as 1%.

FIVE:  Anyone who doubts that Gardasil has caused deaths and permanent injuries and devastated families should check out the SANE Vax vaccine safety site (www.sanevax.org). The site, created by mothers of daughters killed or injured by HPV vaccines, details story after story illustrating the harm HPV vaccines can cause.

Again, I say do your own research. Ask questions and do not assume anything. Take responsibity for your health and the health of your young children.

Let's Put Life in Perspective

If we could shrink the Earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look like this:

There would be 57 Asians / 21 Europeans / 14 from the Western Hemisphere (North and South) / and 8 Africans.

51 would be female / 49 would be male.

70 would be non-white / 30 white.

70 would be non-Christian / 30 Christian.

50% of the entire world's wealth would be in the hands of only 6 people and all 6 would be citizens of the United States.

80 would live in substandard housing.

70 would be unable to read.

50 would suffer from malnutrition.

1 would be near death / 1 would be near birth.

Only 1 would have a college education.

No one would own a computer.

When one considers our world from such an incredibly compressed perspective, the need for both tolerance and understanding becomes apparent.

Asensiongrows

[statistics are pre-1990]

What are you talkin' about?

... and I will repeat THIS particular quote more than once.... Great people talk about ideas; ordinary people talk about things; small-minded people talk about other people.

Nothing Sexy about Your Surgeon Pulling Fat from Your Arteries

Surgery_fat_pull
Wanna see something neato Fam?? I thought you would :-) This is a picture from a surgery. The surgeon is pulling from the coronary arteries of the aorta a plug of great, long, greasy, sausage-like formations of fat. This is what causes many people to buy their way to an autopsy table near them! The #1 cause of death of people in N. America every 30 seconds someone grabs their chest, making promises to Elizabeth (you would have to understand Sanford & Son) and then keels over. When the material (the greasy sausage) is sent to the pathologist, the report always comes back the same... saturated fat and cholesterol (animal fat). The pathology report never, ever, ever say remnants of broccoli, brown rice and tofu. Just sayin...

You know... you could just get on the Body by Vi 90-Day Challenge :-)

Your Diet Can Age You!

Antiaging food involves daily nutrition to slow the aging process. The nutrients in your food which are nature made vitamins, are the key to a heart healthy diet plan and keeping blood sugar levels normal. By basing your diet around the right foods, you can put your antiaging nutrition on autopilot, and slow, stop, or even reverse some aspects of the aging process!

Although an antiaging nutritional supplement can be very effective (like the ViPak), you food is your main source of nutrients, calories and energy. Poor nutritional choices can actually accelerate the aging process!

By choosing antioxidant rich roods and property timing your meals, you can actually help your body slow down the aging process.

Protein is an awesome way to help keep blood sugar levels in check and a high qualit protein will help to control hunger cravings. Keep in mind though that not all protein is created equal. Rapid blood sugar increases in turn cause insulin increase. Stablizing blood sugar levels is one of a few REAL KEY components of a longevity and antiaging lifestyle. The lower your average insulin levels are the healthier, younger, sexy, and actively you will be.

Research the nutrient content of your food before stuffing it in your mouth. This will help to insure you are making a conscious choice about the quality of the foods you are putting in your body. Poor food choices is a building block for perpetuating inflammation and increasing blood sugar, which accelerate the aging process.

Protein is a key way to help maintain blood sugar levels and curb hunger. Not all protein is created equal. Animal protein (meat, milk, etc.) is high in absorbable iron, a major carcinogen that can trigger massive amounts of free radicals and inflammation. If you are a meat lover and chose not to limit your animal protein intake, at least eat veggies (raw at best or at least steamed). The veggies will dramatically reduced the iron absorbtion.

Personally, I am a fan of the ViShake because of the quality of the ingredients. The TriSorb Protein is a unique and highly soluble protein  that boosts my immunity and improves my cholesterol profiles. I use the Core Kit which give me my ViShake and my ViPak multivitamins which specifically strengthens my immune system, and improves my cholesterol profiles all with no drugs!

Meat..Glued Together with Pig & Cow Blood.

Seriously!! Seriously!! When I saw this video my jaw just dropped, but it is getting to the place that nothing is surprising me anymore.

The scraps, bit and pieces that the butchers use to throw away or use as protein filler in dog and cat food is not being piecemilled together with this stuff called Transglutaminase aka Meat Glue. Fam... they have to wear face masks to add this stuff to the meat because the shiggity is too poisonous to breath in. Wow!

There are various forms of this Meat Glue stuff. Some is cultivated by a mixture of various bacteria and some is developed with the blood plasma of pigs and cows, the coagulant that causes blood to clot. So for all of my swine snob Fam that only eats bovine and / or fowl and fish, I think this means there is a total transgression of the law... Thou shalt not eat Wilber or Porky or Piggly Wiggly... well, unless it's from the mixture of Meat Glue.

You know that a lot of these snooty high dollar restaurants are using this stuff? Hell, some of them are even mixing it up in their kitchens! That $30 tenderloin could likely be a $1.37 collection of scraps thrown together. So if the fancy restaurants are using this meat glue and feeding it to its customers I can only imagine what the fast food industry is doing. OMG... bad visual!!

Why is it that the stuff that is banned overseas is readily feed / administered to us here in the states? Why are we not outraged by this??

Any whooo, check out the video clip to get the complete story on Meat Glue: Here's Your Meat Glue!

Now... where is my blender, I think I'll have a nutritional ViShake drink to that!

Unequal Footing: Conversations of the Wealthy Class

I met up with my childhood friend and her ULTRA wealthy husband and some of their friends. Let me tell you, the ULTRA Rich have a totally different language from the rich and middle class. There is a high price to pay for ignorance and from what I see; it can’t always be funded or cured with a college degree. BTW, this circle of friends I had the humbling experience of socializing with – of the 7 of them:

  •  Only 3 had gone to college
  • Only 1 of the 3 had attended grad school
  • 4 of them had never graduated high school
  • 5 of them came from poverty
  • 1 was homeless for 2 years in their 40’s
  • 2 of them are people of color
  • 3 of them were women
  • All of them have travelled the world many times over
  • All of them were very into their health and fitness (and it showed)
  • All of them were involved in some kind of marketing business (of their many ventures)
  • Of those that have children, NONE of them attend public school
  • 4 of them home school (i.e. where ever in the world home is, is where they are schooled: yachting the Black Sea / safari in Africa / Riding Route 66 in a Winnebago from Chicago to California / you know, stuff like that).
  • 1 attends a very specialized school that focuses on the child’s talent and grooms that gift.
  • Oh and BTW again, 2 of these kids have started their own business.
  • 1 earned $72,700 last year (14 years old)
  • 1 earned $51,210 last year (16 years old) and bought HER first car cash
  • One of the baby business owners joined an MLM business in June last year (well actually mom joined, but the kid works it).

  • One of the baby business owners joined an MLM business in June last year (well actually mom joined, but the kid works it).

PLEASE NOTE: I am not knocking college, just that so much emphasis is put on getting a college degree and today more than 60% of college graduates are not even working in the field of which their degree is in.

I believe it begins in our schools with our children. American kids are so far behind the 8ball compared to other kids around the world who have far less liberties than our children have here in the states. Most parents are still preaching the same song and dance that their parents preached to them, “Get good grades in school, go to college and get a good paying job (ie. typically $60K or better annual).”

So, about that business you were thinking about getting started? Just be careful that you do not end up a business owner that can’t leave your business for even a couple of days without you would cause everything to implode. If your gonna get something started, it seems to me that leveraging time and other people would be the key.

Why Hold it In? Release that Hurt, Angry, Narcisstic BITCH!!

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Feeling kinda blue, sad, angry, or just plain bitchy? Psycho-somatic therapy (psyche = mind; soma = body) theorizes that there are psychological and emotional factors involved in both the onset and healing of cancer and other diseases. Meaning there is a direct correlation between what you are feeling (but not releasing – BIG CLUE) and your health challenges.

I was reading about this really awesome medical doctor / cancer surgeon out of Germany, Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer and I think this guy is totally on to something.  Dr. Hamer questioned why cancer never seems to systematically spread directly from one organ to the surrounding tissue. It makes sense!

Ok, for example, he never found cancer of the cervix AND the uterus in the same woman. Doc also noticed that all his cancer patients seemed to have something in common: there had been some kind of deep seeded emotional stress crash prior to the onset of their disease. Either it was a divorce, loss of a job, an unresolved argument, abandonment issue, etc.

After having examined 20,000 cancer patients with all types of cancer, Dr. Hamer came up with some revolutionary and very controversial information. X-rays he had taken of the brain of his patients showed in ALL cases a "dark shadow". These dark spots would be in exactly the same place in the brain for the same types of cancer. The body is totally inner-connected!

What I mean by this is that there are nerve endings in the brain that directly correlate to various organs throughout the body. So when your doctor tells you that your stomach issues have nothing to do with your heart or whatever other duality of health concerns you have- KNOW DIFFERENT!!!

Dr. Hamer’s study found there is a 100% (One Hundred… get this please!)correlation between the dark spot in the brain, the location of the cancer and, get this… the specific type of unresolved emotional conflict (ie. Anger, guilt, resentment, grief, etc.).

What Doc is saying is that when we are in a stressful / emotional challenge that is ongoing or even worse, unresolved, the emotional reflex center in the brain sends a message to the corresponding organ in the body. This internal dialog is like if you told a child over and over again that they are bad. Well, that brain / organ communication results in the formation of deformed cells in the tissues: Cancer cells.

This reminds me of the book, Hidden Messages in Water by Dr. Masaru Imoto. If you haven’t read this book or even heard of it, I strongly advise you to pick it up or read about Dr. Imoto’s work on the internet. Here’s a hint… our bodies are made up of more than 70% water.

Also, another great resource on this topic of mind / body (consciousness) connection is the movie, What the Bleep Do We Know. Again… Check it out!

Oh, and one more, Dr. Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life. Another amazing book cover this very same topic of mind / body connection and the emotional correlation of it all.

So anyway, Doc started including psychotherapy as an important part of the healing process and found that when the specific conflict was resolved, the cancer immediately stopped growing at a cellular level! And…the little gremlin dark spot in the brain started to disappear!

Doc’s  X-rays of the brain showed a healing edema around the damaged emotional correlation point as the brain tissue began to repair the afflicted organ.

A similar healing edema could also be seen around the now inactive cancer tissue. Eventually, the cancer would be dealt with by the natural action of the body. Diseased tissue would disappear and normal tissue would then again appear.

Recent research in Germany, Austria, France, USA and Denmark has confirmed Dr. Hamer's findings; that emotional conflicts create cancer, and solving the conflicts in question stops the cancer growth. Bet you haven’t heard a whole lot of talk about this finding, huh?

Well get this…these doctors are using psychotherapy as a major part of the healing process, and they claim a remission rate of 97%! I’ll repeat that slowly:

N I N E T Y – S E V E N   P E R C E N T!

People think that by hiding their sadness and grief behind a brave face, appearing "nice" and avoiding open conflict that they are helping their situation. A lot of people are not even aware of their own emotions, and are therefore not only isolated from other people, but also from themselves.

We all experience "emotional isolation" at some point in time in our lives and then there are those that live in total isolation of revealing what is really going on inside of them. We live in a society where we want to interact with other people in a way we have been brought up to regard as considerate.

There are limits to what we feel we can say and do, censuring ourselves of what we think and feel. Having to change these lifestyle facts does not necessarily mean that we need to go kick the dog, slap that nosey neighbor or key your ex’s car or spend life with a box of Kleenex tissue strapped around our neck. It is a question of how we can change our emotional patterns without creating even greater conflicts for ourselves.

The important thing is begin the healing from the moment of understanding of the emotional hurt. The best and most proactive thing to do is to talk to someone that will listen. If it is a friend, partner, or loved one, let them know that you don’t need to have a back and forth dialog, but you just need to be heard. This can help to break the loneliness from the isolation and the pressure is released from the emotional ties in the brain and organ.

I realize that sometimes you may feel that your burden is too heavy to share with others or you may not feel comfortable with allowing your vulnerability to show. Find a support group that focuses on talk therapy as well as incorporates some kind of emotional healing techniques, like love or healing circles, so that the charge from everyone else’s emotion is not stagnate, but released.

We need each other – we really do! We were not put here on this earth to be super man or super woman and toll through this life alone. Remember what the big guy said, “Where two or more are gathered in my name…”

If you see / know that someone is hurting, reach out to them. Have compassion and serve from your heart. There is no higher calling in this life than the calling to serve.

I love you. Thank you for sharing this moment with me.

Ok, time to fluff my hair and get out the door. Where’s my DiVa shades??

See you on the other side of greatness ;-)

THIS CHEMOTHERAPY THING HAS ME PISSED OFF!!

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

When I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and given the prognosis of 3-6 months my options were surgery followed by chemo, radiation and some kind of drug therapy. At the time, all I knew was that it just did not feel right to me that these were my only options.

My father had prostate cancer and he did everything the doctors told him to do and he let them do anything / everything they wanted to do to him, and for what? I watched my father suffer painfully through it all and loose the battle as he laid before me a mere skeletal shadow of what he once was.

I don’t trust doctors. I have yet to go to a doctor and not walk out with a little white notepad of paper for some wonder drug they think will cure what ails me.

When my doctor told me of my options for the cervical cancer, he never mentioned to me the various options within the options he offered. Never!

When it comes to cancer, doctors offer what is considered, Standard of Care. Basically, it is a cookie cutter answer to dealing with all cancers. Did you know that there are various forms of chemotherapy? Yeah, exactly! Neither did I! I was not told. I had to research this on my own!

Adriamycin, Toxotere and Cytoxan are just three of many. Adriamycin however is the most popular of the chemotherapy offered for Standard of Care and it is confirmed and documented in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute to be the most ineffective in up to 92% of women to whom it was offered. For women (and men) that are choosing chemotherapy for breast cancer, this particular drug has potentially very serious cardiac side effects.

Why can’t cancer be treated naturally? Why can’t we be given more choices? Why put a person through so much physical pain and mental / emotional anguish? Why not be given a choice? Why? Because there is profit in it. People of chosen ignorance are nothing more than guinea pigs for the medical industry. I say chosen ignorance because with all of the information readily available at one’s fingertips the less one sets out to find the truth the less likely the survival. Ignorance is a choice just like APPLIED knowledge.

There are numerous doctors around this country – the USA, that are making tremendous strides in cancer therapies – WITHOUT CHEMICALS.

Check this out, when you go to the doctor with say a nasty cold or flu, they will do a sensitivity test to see which antibiotics would best work for you. Did you know that the same can be done for cancer? Now if you ask your doctor, he/she will say it is ineffective. Crazy, right? They won’t do it because it is time consuming, which for them is not cost effective. The economics are “Let’s keep the assembly line going and herd though as many of the chosen ignorant as possible so we can maximize our profits.”

If you were to survey 100 doctors, 90 of them, if diagnosed with cancer would not take chemotherapy or radiation. Surprised? Don't be.

Farah Fawcett (Charle’s Angels) died of anal cancer. After going through two courses of excruciating, debilitating, immune-system-ruining chemotherapy, only to have the cancer return in 3 months, Farah went to Germany to have chemosensitivity test done. It was there she found out that the chemotherapy she was given in the USA was completely ineffective!

Begin to ask questions. Question everything when it comes to the health of you and your family. READ THE FREKIN SIDE EFFECTS of your therapy / drugs / etc. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!

One of my favorite sites to visit is www.CancerTudor.com. Chuck full of information to apply to your daily life… BEFORE YOU ARE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER.

Thought 4 the day (All used up :-)

When I stand before God at the end of my journey, I hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left so that I can say, 'I used everything you gave me'.

Thought 4 the Day: What if You Were to....

.... as you were walking by a stranger on the street... bark at them. No not like a little ankle biter bark, I mean bark at them like a big St. Barnard bark, and then just keep walking like nothing happened.

For those of you that ride elevators to get to work...especially if the elevator has one or more people. Get on the elevator and just walk to the far back corner and stand there.... facing the corner - tightly. Ask the person closest to the panel to press your floor.

Yes, I've done both. Hillarious!!

Yes... I did it!! Yes, I ate the damn chocolate chip cookies, fried chicken, mashed pototes (with beef gravey), and I had a huge slice of red velvet cake too!!! Yeah, I did it... so what??? And I washed it all down with Dasani water. Now if you will excuse me I need to make an appointment with my colon hydrotherapist and go on a two day juice fast. (sniff, sniff.... hey, did you see that elephant run by?)

Thought 4 the Day: A Personal Reflection in a Story - What about You?

One day a father of a little boy showed up at a baseball field. It so happened his eight year old son lost a lens from his glasses in centerfield and was searching for it. As the father wandered onto the field nearing his boy, he began screaming at his son for losing the lens.

One of the coaches, David called “Time.” David and others went out to center field to look for the lens. However, the dad kept shouting threats and obscenities at his little son. Then, he cocked back his fist and punched the little boy in the face. The boy went down.

As David painfully observed, he saw the precious little boy lying there stunned. Then he sat up, fighting back the tears. He would not cry.

Immediately, David went to him. Putting his arm around him, David gently said, "Don't worry, you didn't mean to lose it. We'll find the lens. It will be ok." The boy burst into tears.

My heart broke when I heard of  this as I could recall my own personal story wrapped up in this - as a little girl (with my mom). The minute David touched him, this little boy sobbed. His little spirit responded to love.

Do you recall what it is like to be eight? At a moment like that, this little boy was confused. In his young mind, he had done a bad thing in losing his lens. He knew he didn't mean to, but “motives” aren't understood at that age. After all, his dad was mad, so he had to be bad. He had no idea what others felt. As far as he knew, they felt the same way his dad did. Oh, the insecurity this little one must have felt at that moment.

But he also felt another pain: a crushed spirit from the screaming, a broken heart from the fist. Deep within he was created by God to be loved, but no one loved him. He was designed to be valued and treated as significant. So, he held back his tears. If he cried, it could get worse. Everyone might turn on him. He felt so alone and scared. He wanted someone to comfort him. Then a hand was placed on his shoulder and an arm came around him. He heard the soft voice of a kind man who had been playing baseball with him. "Don't worry, you didn't mean to lose it. We'll find the lens. It will be ok." The boy burst into tears. It was love. It was honor. He was rescued. Oh, if only dad had joined in and said, "Will you forgive me?"

Fam, every human spirit longs to be loved and respected. Every human spirit cries out, "Does anybody love me? Am I significant to anyone?"

Looking beyond this little boy, what about you?

Thought 4 the Day 4 All the Lovers in da House (Old skool lessons from the Good Book)

Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts when feeling disrespected and a wife reacts when feeling unloved.  We asked 7,000 people this question: when you are in a conflict with your spouse or significant other, do you feel unloved or disrespected?  83% of the men said "disrespected."  72% of the women said, "unloved."  Though we all need love and respect equally, the felt need differs during conflict, and this difference is as different as pink is from blue! Read your bible.... there is a reason why God instructs women to RESPECT your MAN and God instructs men LOVE your WOMAN. Never is it mentioned the other way around.... there is a reason!!

Thought 4 the Day 4 All the People Pleazerz (hmmm... I don't have a smart subtitle afterthought for this one...read on)

I can't give you a surefire formula for success, but I can give you a formula for failure: TRY TO PLEASE EVERYBODY ALL THE TIME. Personally, I believe (and will demonstrate by practicing more) in putting self 1st. Everytime I have put myself 1st, everything / else / one just miraculously falls into place.

Thought 4 the Day 4 Those That Say, "You Gotta Have $$ in the Land of Milk & Honey" (Give me Almond Milk & Maple instead)

Chartered planes to the islands, sipping vintage wines around the world between world-class spa appointmentss (with colon hydrotherapy :-), living like a princess lounging by the infinity pool of a private villa, dining next to and then having drinks with the world's wealthiest royalty from the Middle East. Sounds like an expensive lifestyle, right? Nope. It all costs less than rent in the United States. Free your time and location, your money is automatically worth 3-10 times as much.

Thought 4 the Day for the People Who Say "Grow Up & Get Real" (Uuuugghhh!)

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one..... especially when you are hanging around the "realist" that are constantly reminding you that "this" is real when what is in your head (your dreams) are realer (yes, it's a new word on Wikipedia [note to self: list on Wikipedia]). Thought 4 the Day: Just sick and tired....

I'm talkin' about somebody that is sick and tired of being sick and tired of dealing with the pain in thier pocket. Find and hang out with people that are more ambitious than you and make them your mentors and inevitably your business partner.

Thought 4 the Day for YOU!

When was the last time someone told you how awesome, beautiful, wonderful, smart, sassy, sexy, resourceful, funny, exciting, powerful, and dynamic you are? What??? Oh, don't act like you've never heard it before. You have, plenty of times! FELLAS, remember the girl that blushed and giggled when you smiled her way? What about the last time you got suga' sharp and looked in the mirror at yourself like, "Yeah" and then did the walk that President Obama did the first day he walked into the White House - yeah you know the walk, with the slight dip. LADIES, remember when you put on "that dress" and the reaction from not only the men... but the other ladies as well - you know - that hateraid look (gotta love it). And what about the time that special little person in your life looked up to you with arms stretched out to get a soothing hug? Oh yeah... and the other night when you rocked his world?? Yeah guuurrrlll!!!

To my D.I.V.A's and D.I.V.O's I Love You. You're My Inspiration.

Sensitive to Chemotherapy? Great for Cancer Patients... Read on...

“The second biggest killer in America is medical ignorance and it is the number one reason people die”

-- Bill Faloon, Co-Founder of Life Extension Foundation

According to conventional medicine the purpose of chemo is to kill cancer cells, but that it also kills healthy cells along the way. When I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and given the prognosis of 3-6 months I was told by my conventional doctor that my only option was to have surgery followed by chemotherapy and/or radiation. Now at the time I was not given any other options from my doctors. Not even the kind of chemotherapy that was available. They were going to just give me the “standard of care”. To be very honest, I did not know there were different kinds of chemotherapy until recently when I was reading Knockout Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer (and how to prevent getting it in the first place), by Suzanne Somers (I LOVE this Woman!)

So there are, as far as I have come to understand, various kinds of conventional chemotherapy drugs – Adriamycin, Cytoxan, and Taxotere are the most popular. Adriamycin, which is the most popular, is proven to be  ineffective in up to 92% of women it was administered to – this is according to a study done at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and now confirmed in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Well, I hope this quick note gives you a bit of information to follow through on whether you are facing this challenge yourself or if someone you love is facing this challenge. There is what is called Chemosensitivity Test. It is a test that can help to determine if the chemotherapy that is suggested by your doctor (if a particular one is suggested at all) is the best conventional therapy to treat the cancer. In Germany and Greece, chemosensitivity tests are routinely conducted in order to determine which type of chemo should be utilized for a specific cancer patient.

Chemosensitivity test is just a matter of harvesting the cancer cells out of the patient’s blood. The cells are broken down genetically in a lab to discover which markers are compatible with treatment of the tumor. This test can tell which drugs would be most effective for the particular cancer and which would be ineffective or even harmful.

Dr. James Forsythe a board certified oncologist and homeopath documented the impact of chemosensitivity testing by sharing one of his patient’s stories:

“I had a patient from Sacramento who six months ago had been on a heavy-duty chemo protocol called FOL-FOX (containing oxaliplatin, 5FU, and Avastin). We found out from the German chemosensitivity test that two out of the three of those drugs were completely ineffective against his cancer cells. I switched him over to a sensitive drug and he’s now out playing golf three days a week and his liver has cleared up completely on recent follow-up scans”

There is always a choice, but as long as we make it a choice to remain ignorant and continue to give our power away without consideration we will forever remain the victims of our own creation.

YOU HAVE 18 MONTHS REMAINING HERE ON EARTH:

What are you going to do with your time?

Who would you want to be with?

Where would you want to be?

If you could do your life all over again would you do it the same way?

Are you satisfied with the legacy you are leaving behind?

Are you currently spending time with the person / people that you want to be with?

Is there anyone you would need to apologize to?

Is there anyone / anything you need to release?

Just something to ponder…

EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT CLEANSING MY GRANDMOTHER AND AUNT STU HAD IN THEIR CUPBOARD – CREAM OF TARTAR

My grandmother would use cream of tartar in her yummy specialty chocolate cakes she would bake for us and then she would give it to us to cleanse our bowels, clean the kitchen and wash clothes. Crazy! Cream of tartar or Potassium hydrogen tartrate, has been used in everyday cooking for hundreds of years. Cream of tartar is also a by-product of the wine fermenting process (I know this because my family use to make wine – no not moonshine!). But homeopathic medicine recognizes cream of tartar for a number of health uses as well, some of which pre-date grandmothers chocolate cake:

Urinary Tract Infections

Before and even better than antibiotics, cream of tartar was a popular method to eliminate painful urinary tract infections. The cream of tartar changes your body’s pH level and helps kill the internal bacteria. Grandmother would mix a couple of teaspoons into a half-cup of warm water and just for me, she would pour it into a lead crystal wine glass and have me to drink, one to two times a day. Grandmother would also add a splash of lime juice, to give my body a nice vitamin C boost to stave off the infection.

Nicotine Detox

My great uncle use to smoke like a chimney. He kept a cigarette dangling from his lips, a cigarette behind his left ear and a pack in his shirt pocket. Uncle Jet was notorious for picking up half smoked cigs here and there and just light them up and start smoking.

Smoking is a powerful addiction, and each year people use thousands of methods, from prescription drugs to hypnotherapy, to help them quit. While weaning the body off of nicotine through the use of patches and gum has become increasingly popular, a number of home remedies favor immediate cessation and then a cleansing of the body. Grandmother to the rescue with her concoction of a teaspoon of cream of tartar into a glass of orange juice once a day. The orange juice helps the body fight the withdrawal, while the cream of tartar starts the nicotine detoxification process.

Heartburn

Heartburn, is just another effect of a poor digestive system typically associated with bowel disorders or constipation / IBS / etc. Heartburn is also associated with stress and spicy foods and can be very painful. I remember how Aunt Stu use to grab her pearl necklace and pound on her chest to try to ease the pain. Aunt Stu was such a drama queen. She often grabbed her pearls just for effect.

Aunt Stu was never one to subscribe to doctors orders and she was not about to give up her jalapeño peppers, which she ate like ice cubes. Whenever an attack occurred she would go to the cupboard and immediately mix a half teaspoon of cream of tartar with a half teaspoon of baking soda, and blend into in a warm or lukewarm cup of water. In just minutes she was relieved and her pearls dangled loosely.
